A joint meeting of Bogomoletz Institute of Physiology Research Council and Young Scientist Council will be held on December 20, 2018 at 12:00. The results of the competition for Kostyuk Award 2018, which is provided by the Shevchenko Scientific Society (USA: http://shevchenko.org) and Kostyuk Foundation, will be announced during the meeting.

The following participants are the finalists of this year competition:

The award ceremony will take place at:
Auditorium 212, Bogomoletz Institute of Physiology, 4 Bohomoletz Street, Kyiv.

After the ceremony, a buffet sponsored by Kostyuk Fond of Shevchenko Scientific Society will be served.

Three finalists will be chosen in this year competition. Each finalist will give a brief talk (5 minutes) about himself and his main scientific achievements.
This year winner(s) will be announced during the ceremony.

The award ceremony will take place at:
Auditorium 212, Bogomoletz Institute of Physiology, 4 Bohomoletz Street, Kyiv.

After the ceremony, a buffet sponsored by Kostyuk Fond of Shevchenko Scientific Society will be served.

Young biomedical researchers working in Ukraine are invited to apply for the 2018 Platon Kostyuk Award presented by Kostyuk Foundation and The Shevchenko Scientific Society in the US (http://shevchenko.org).
Biological and medical scientists with PhD/Cand.Sci. degree received no longer than 10 years ago are eligible for the application.
Submit to kostyuk.award@gmail.com before or on November 11, 2018.
The recipient(s) of the Kostyuk Award will be recognized by a commemorative plaque and personal cash award (30000 hryvnas).

The results of the competition for Kostyuk Award 2017 was announced during the joint meeting of Bogomoletz Institute of Physiology Research Council and Young Scientist Council, which was held on December 20, 2017.
Two finalists of this year competition were equally scored and won the Award.
The winners are:

Ivan Kucherenko (Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine)
Roman Moskalenko (Sumy State Medical University)

Kostyuk Foundation 2016 Award has been presented to Drs. Ludmila Kasatkina from Palladin Institute of Biochemistry NASU (Kyiv, Ukraine) and Andrey Stepanyuk from Bogomoletz Institute of Physiology NASU (Kyiv, Ukraine) who won in tough competition of 26 young Ukrainian biomedical scientist. They were finally chosen among 5 nominees according to their scores obtained from the Reviewing Committee. Both winners and nominees had been invited to attend the ceremony and to deliver lectures about their scientific achievements during the ceremony conducted at Bogomoletz Institute of Physiology.
